Hello, with over 25 years experience of managing high quality care provision, I recognise that, if ever there was a time when older people and their families need A Port in a Storm it is now.

I have spoken to hundreds of people during my career in the care profession. The most common emotion expressed during their first contact is fear. This is both fear of the unknown (most commonly expressed by the family member), or the fear of loss of control by the individual themselves.

The next most common emotion expressed is frustration. Frustration, at not being able to find the right person who can help and is willing to listen or frustration with a relative refusing to agree to support.

Using my extensive experience and knowledge of the types of change and conditions we experience as we age, I have devised the, easy to navigate, layers of support that I can offer. These 6 layers of guidance and support have been created by me to facilitate and create conversation points to enable us, together, to create plans for practical and desired structures of support.

After your first initial contact and chat with me The Foundation Layer Consultation is the place to start. You can book this with me if you would like to take things further.

This first consultation forms the necessary understanding of your individual situation. It enables independent basic advice on necessary areas of focus or possible funding. It also gives access to our other suitable Layers of Support if required. This consultation will normally take place on the phone or virtually e.g.via Zoom.

The cost for this is £75.00.

I live in Norfolk but am able to provide my service virtually in other counties of England.
